1 MÓZES 1, 14-19/ GENESIS 1: 14-19

14-19. vers:

„ És monda Isten: Legyenek világító testek az ég mennyezetén, hogy elválaszszák a nappalt az éjszakától, és legyenek jelek, és meghatározói ünnepeknek, napoknak és esztendőknek.

És legyenek világítókul az ég mennyezetén hogy világítsanak a földre. És úgy lőn.

Teremté tehát Isten a két nagy világító testet: a nagyobbik világító testet, hogy uralkodjék nappal és a kisebbik világító testet, hogy uralkodjék éjjel; és a csillagokat.

És helyezteté Isten azokat az ég mennyezetére, hogy világítsanak a földre;

És hogy uralkodjanak a nappalon és az éjszakán, és elválaszszák a világosságot a setétségtől. És látá Isten, hogy jó.

És lőn este és lőn reggel, negyedik nap.”

A teremtés negyedik napján is csodálatos dolgok történtek. Ez a nap is alkalmas arra, hogy elgondolkoztasson, mennyire szeret minket Isten. Ezen a napon keresztül Isten engem arra emlékeztet, hogy milyen régóta eltervezte már, a mi megváltásunkat.

Mi következett az után, hogy harmadik nap egybegyűjtötte a vizeket, megteremtette a növényeket? Mi a másik alap szükséglet, amire a növényeknek szükségük van ahhoz, hogy fejlődjenek? Isten megteremtette a világítótesteket, a napot, a holdat és a csillagokat.

A nap segítségével a növények energiát nyernek, fotoszintetizálnak, és ez segíti őket a fejlődésben. A Hold, mint kisebbik világítótest is szerepet játszik egyes növények fejlődésében.

Mire akarok megint kilyukadni? Ahogy ezeket olvastam, Isten ismét az Ő megváltó munkáját szimbolizálja számomra.

Ahogy Isten megteremtette a Napot, hogy világítson a földre, ugyanígy tette számunkra is elérhetővé a világosságot Jézusban. A János Evangéliumából tudjuk, hogy Jézus a világ Világossága. Jézus eljövetele által, elérhetővé tette számunkra az Ő világosságát. Isten világossága az ő tisztaságát, tökéletességét tükrözi. Honnan tudom ezt? „És ez az az üzenet, a melyet tőle hallottunk és hirdetünk néktek, hogy az Isten világosság és nincsen ő benne semmi sötétség.” (1János 1, 5) Isten azt a világosságot, aki ő maga, Jézus Krisztusban küldte el hozzánk.

A folytatásban látjuk, hogy ott van a kisebbik világítótest is. Az a legtöbben tudjuk, hogy a Holdnak önmagában nincsen fénye, hanem a Nap fényét tükrözi vissza. Jézus önmagéban elhozta hozzánk a Világosságot, és minket is bevilágított. Ezt honnan tudom? „Ti vagytok a világ világossága. Nem rejtethetik el a hegyen épített város.” (Máté 5, 14) Hogyan lehetünk mi a világ Világossága? Úgy, hogy Jézust tükrözzük a világban úgy, ahogyan a Hold visszaveri a Nap fényét. A Nap ereje nélkül mi nem észlelhetnénk azt a Világosságot, amit Isten már az 1. nap megalkotott. A körülöttünk élők nem vehetnének tudomást a világ Világosságáról, ha mi nem Jézus fényét tükröznénk. Most még nem tudunk úgy ragyogni, ahogyan Jézus, mert a bűn még jelen van az életünkben. Jézus áldozatának köszönhetően a bűn nem uralkodik többé rajtunk, de még jelen van az életünkben. Viszont, minél közelebb engedjük magunkhoz Isten világosságát, tisztaságát, Jézus Krisztust, az emberek annál többet fognak látni belőle. Jézus Krisztus az igazi Világosság, mi lehetünk azok, akik ezt a világosságot visszaverjük.

Végezetül, mit mond az Ige azokról, akik Jézus tanítványai, azaz a világ Világosságának továbbítói? Először is fontos meglátni, hogy ismételten nem rólunk van szó, hanem arról, aki a Világosságot elhozta közénk: „Új parancsolatot adok néktek, hogy egymást szeressétek; a mint én szerettelek titeket, úgy szeressétek ti is egymást. Erről ismeri meg mindenki, hogy az én tanítványaim vagytok, ha egymást szeretni fogjátok.” (János 13, 34-35)- Ezen az Igeversek az előzménye az az eset, amikor Jézus megmossa a saját tanítványai lábait. Ezzel egy példát mutatva nekik, hogyan fognak ők cselekedni másokkal, ahogyan Ő tette.

Jézus Krisztus Isten világosságának tökéletes megtestesítője eljött, hogy példát adjon nekünk. Ezt a példát követve tudjuk az Ő világosságát tükrözni az emberek felé, és egymás felé is.

Csodálatos, amikor mind az Ó- és Új Szövetség ugyanazt a célt szolgálja, hogy Jézus Krisztust bemutassa nekünk. Isten megváltó munkája áthidalja az egész Bibliát, már a teremtés 1. napjától kezdve.

Verse 14-19:

„And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.”

Wonderful things happened on the forth day of creation too. This day is also suited to remind us, how much God loves us. God reimndes me through this day, how long time He planed our redemption.

What was next, after He collected waters and created planst on the third day? What is the other basic needs for what the plants need to progress? Gd created the Sun, the Moon and the Stars.

The Sun can help them to gain energy. Photosynthesis can happen by the Sun. The lesser light Moon can play a role in the progression.

What I’m gettin at again? As I read these, God is symbolizing His redemptive work for me.

As God created the Sun to light on Earth, He made the Light available in Jesus. We know The Gospel of John says that Jesus is the Light of the World. God made His Light available by Jesus’ coming. The Light of God reflects His purity and perfection. How do I know this? „This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” (1 John 1: 5)- God the Light Himself sent in Jesus Christ to us.

We can see after the jump, there is the lesser Light too. Most of us we know the Moon has not own light, but it reflects the Sun’s light. Jesus brought the Light in himself and He illuminated us too. How do I know this? „Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” (Matthew 5, 14) How can we be the light of the World? So that Jesus is reflected by u sin the World, as the Moon is reflecting the sunlight. Without the power of the Sun we can’t notice the Light, what God has created on the first day. If we won’t reflect the Light of Jesus, the people arount us can not to take notice of the Light of the World. Now we can’t shine yet as Jesus is shining, because Sin is present in our lives. Thanks that to the sacrifice of Jesus, the sin can’t reign on us anymore, but it’s present in our lives. But as we allow the light closer to ourselves the Light, the purity of God, Jesus, than people will more see it. Jesus Christ is the real Light and we are those who can reflect it.

Finally, what the Scripture says about those, who are Jesus’ disciples, the forwarders of the Light of the World? First it’s important to see, this is not about us again, but about Him who brought the Light to us. „A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” (John 13, 34-35)- The prelude of these verses is the story when Jesus washes His disciples feet. He showed an example to them, how they will act with others, as He did.

Jesus Christ the perfect epitome of the Light of God came and showed an exaple to us. As we follow this example, we can reflect His Light to the people and to eachother.

It’s awesome when all the Old Testament and New Testament serve the same purpose, to show Jesus Christ. God’s redemptive work spans the whole Bible, from the first day of the Creation.
